Stakes and Wards (congregations) are led by unpaid clergy.
In addition, men, women and youth volunteer their time to serve in other leadership roles, as teachers, as mentors, and in support roles to minister to the needs of others and manage day to day operations.
The humanitarian efforts of the Church worldwide give hope to millions of people around the world who struggle with disease, poverty, civil conflict and despair. In times of disaster, the Church and partnering agencies respond with donations of food, clothing, medical supplies and other emergency relief in every corner of the world. In addition, the Church provides immunizations, neonatal resuscitation training, vision treatment and distributes wheelchairs.
The Church supports these services regardless of ethnicity, nationality, or religion. For more information about Latter-day Saint Charities and its partners visit LatterdaySaintCharities.org
We strive to strengthen our community through service. JustServe is a collaborative effort of the Church with other faith groups and local organizations. The goal of JustServe is to connect volunteers with service opportunities and address needs within our community regardless of race, religion, gender, ethnicity or sexual orientation.
We invite you to join with us as we serve our neighbors.
